About the Event

Ms. Smith is an award-winning artist who has exhibited widely in the  USA and France, Germany, and China. Her recognitions include  being named a Master Pastellist, le Societe des Pastellistes de France;  Eminent Pastelist and Masters Circle Member, IAPS; Master Pastelist,  PSA; and Distinguished Pastelist, PSNM. She has been published in three  books, featured multiple times in The Pastel Journal, American Artist,  and Pratique des Arts magazines, and judged and written for The Pastel  Journal. Pastel artists interested in getting a fresh perspective on painting  the landscape beyond the usual “green scenes” will want to join her for this exploration of pushing the boundaries of the colors and  compositions found in nature. Discussions and critiques will keep the emphasis on your artistic  concerns, allowing plenty of working time and individualized instruction. Workshop fee: $450 members/$490 non-members. $100 non-refundable deposit required  to hold your space. Balance is due no later than September 10, 2021.
