Class Description

Thursdays, 6 weeks Instructor: Tony Crnkovich June 8 - July 13 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM $115 M/$130 NM per session To “build” a head in portrait drawing requires much more than simply copying what you see. And the necessary know-how only comes with definitive knowledge. In this portrait drawing class, students will learn to understand and execute the details involved in capturing facial elements on paper by understanding the principles of hand/eye coordination, gesturing, and shading to achieve the optimal outcome. Students must supply a photo of someone of their choice to draw from. A list of supplies can be found on our SUPPLY LISTS page. Art classes meet once every week for a total of 6 weeks in a session. There is one week off between each session unless otherwise noted. Once you sign up, you will be on the class roster for the full 6 weeks. Upon registering for this class, payment is required to secure your spot. Payment can be done in person or over the phone. *Classes are priced as McCord Member / Non-Member
