An Introduction to Pastels
Explore the characteristics and application of pastel painting!
Class Description
Instructor: MaryAnn Nowak Tuesday, May 14, 9:30 - 11:30 AM Fee: $45 M / $55 NM (per workshop) Before you make a commitment and make an investment in a new medium, explore the wonderful characteristics and application of pastel painting. The color, texture and techniques of this dry medium open a whole new world of creativity and expression. The class will touch on a huge variety of pastels, their use, application and surfaces available. No supplies are needed unless you have a set of pastels/pastel related supplies you'd like to bring in for help and guidance. Upon registering for this class, give us a call for payment in order to secure your spot. Payment is required to secure your spot. *Classes are priced as McCord Member / Non-Member

Refund and Makeup Policy

Refunds will be given before a session starts. Once the first class of a session has begun, there will be no refunds for that session.
​
A make-up class will be arranged if an instructor cancels a class. If a student misses a class, there are no refunds for that class. A make-up class can be arranged during that same session by the instructor if space is available in another class. Make-up classes will not be rolled over into a new session.
